POSITION TITLE: MANAGED ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST
DEPARTMENT: MANAGED ACCOUNT SALES
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor degree required; Master degree, CFA, CFP, CIMA, or CIMC preferred
-Minimum 5-7 years outside sales experience preferred
-Minimum 3 years experience dealing with high net worth individuals and wire houses
-Previous experience marketing managed account products preferred
-Knowledge of financial markets, Federated’s products, and competitors’ financial products required
-Knowledge of asset allocation required
-Knowledge of managed account investment techniques and terminology preferred
-Must possess/obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 immediately
MAJOR DUTIES:
-Follow-up on client and prospective client contacts to facilitate the sale of investment products
-Conduct systematic sales calls on clients and prospective clients to identify needs, explain Federated’s investment products and processes
-Develop marketing programs for existing clients to increase assets
-Coordinate internal support to further the sales process; i.e., Request for Proposals, final presentations, quarterly and annual client reviews, etc.
-Work closely with internal Federated departments (i.e., operations, legal, investment management, finance, product development) to assure proper client servicing
-Provide management with feedback on discussions with clients and prospects
-Conduct seminars, small group meetings, and one-on-one meetings with clients and advisors as needed
-Travel and irregular work hours are job requisites
HOURS/LOCATION:
-8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
-Territory - CO, UT, WY, MT, ND, SD, NB, KS, ID
-Location - Denver, CO
