Key Role:
Provide expert research and analysis to support the identification, development, and fielding of new war-fighting capabilities for Army units participating in ongoing combat operations. Monitor and contribute to related efforts occurring at other locations within the Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). Participate in formal and informal working groups to assess specific operational-related capabilities and help the Army decide the future of those capabilities. Participate in REF and AWD internal conferences and meetings. Interface daily with Military and government personnel and other contractors who are working on related issues in support of Army combat units. Travel 15% of the time to various US Army installations and attend periodic conferences in support of these efforts. This position is located at Ft. Meade, MD.
Basic Qualifications:
-20+ years of experience in active Military service
-2+ years of experience at the Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the Rapid Equipping Force, or as a member of the Army staff
-Experience with Army combat or combat support units
-Active Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with a major deployment of the US Army forces
-Graduate of the Army War College, the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), or another service equivalent
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
