Job title: Vulnerability Research & Exploit Development (VRED) Lead
This single individual shall perform dual functions of Team Lead and Senior Functional Expert. This person shall be the single point of contact for the Government Task Monitor (GTM), CDAB Chief, and all Government team members. The VRED Team Lead position provides leadership, oversight and vision on all aspects of the VRED Team. VRED provides internal ITA Red Teams with advanced and tangible intelligence on existing and emerging threats and create customized scripts and programs to enhance Red Team capabilities
The VRED Team Lead shall have the following experience and qualifications:
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in planning, directing, and managing projects/missions in an organization similar in size to this acquisition;
Demonstrate experience in procurement of IT hardware;
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge and supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in efforts similar in size and scope as this acquisition;
Demonstrate the ability to provide executive level and technical metrics and reports from information captured during VRED team missions;
Expert ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients;
Demonstrate experience with researching and testing new and innovative technology;
Demonstrate experience in laboratory management and operations;
Demonstrate experience with application vulnerabilities such as Buffer overflows and weak encryption;
Possess 4+ years of experience with discovery and analysis of exploits through fuzzing, binary code analysis, and other static analysis methodologies;
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in the creation of 0-day exploits to be utilized during Red Team/Penetration Testing missions within a DOD environment ;
Demonstrate experience in multiple programming languages (ASM, C/C++, Python, Ruby);
Demonstrate experience in security testing of multiple Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux, Mac), network devices, storage devices, and applications;
Demonstrate experience with utilizing and creating exploits for Penetration Testing applications Commercial & Open Source applications in an Enterprise solution;
Demonstrate experience with creating exploits with evasion techniques for IDS/HBS enabling secure persistent presence;
8570 Compliant for IAT II CND Auditor and possess an approved Computing Environment Certification;
Shall possess at the time of award, and retain Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) Certifications;
Shall possess at the time of award, and retain, a TS/SCI security clearance.
