*****Position requires a current active DoD TS/SCI security clearance***** Join us in supporting a key Bureau in the Department of State and its dynamic 24x7 mission involving the analysis of real-time intelligence. Provide operations, user and system troubleshooting for systems supporting 300 users in a Windows 2003 Active Directory and Windows Xp environment. Duties include basic system administration, system backups, administering a custom message processing and retrieval system, and monitoring our system servers and networks. As needed, provide support in Microsoft Office application suite, Exchange/Outlook and Netscape/IE web browsers, TCP/IP network troubleshooting, and XP Pro platforms. Position is located at the Department of State (23rd and C Street), parking is provided. Position is full time second shift (2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday. US Citizenship and a current active DoD TOP SECRET/SCI clearance updated within last 4 1/2 years and/or recently de-briefed TS/SCI in last two years is required. High School Diploma required. Four years experience in a classified environment performing system administration, support and troubleshooting activities with at least one year experience in a medium to large scale environment. Independence, Good interpersonal and communication skills and exceptional customer interface skills are a must. |
