Position Summary and Objectives: |
Must Ensure efficient production and compliance with all Company quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures. |

Essential Job Functions: (list most important first) |
- Responsible for the effective production of the assigned lines to achieve the production schedule and working with other Supervisors and Managers to achieve the effective utilization of plant assets including:
- Safety
- Quality
- GMP’s
- Productivity
- Cost
- Also responsible for:
- Training
- SOP development
- Continuous improvement activities
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrate full knowledge of and compliance with Company Quality and Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures.
- Review and assure appropriate knowledge of and adherence to Quality/GMP standards by all staff in assigned area.
- Address and/or escalate and document all Quality/GMP compliance issues or concerns.

Essential Job Requirements: (list most important first) |
- At least 4 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production or related environment. Experience in food processing or related industry highly desirable, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to achieve production targets, lead people and activities
- Relative knowledge of TQM, OEE, 5S and Six Sigma principles
- Ability to quickly learn and comply with Company safety, quality, Good Manufacturing, and other required policies and procedures
- High School diploma/equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred

Additional Information or Requirements: |
Standing for long periods of time; lifting up to 50 lbs.; exposure to noise levels requiring hearing proctection. |
