About the Job
Job Title: 3 Months Contract to Hire - Data Base Specialist ¿ Downtown Phoenix. Skills: Experienced with designing and executing ADABAS files Conducting ongoing maintenance and tuning of ADABAS data base files. Maintaining DB performance standards and initiating corrective actions to resolve technical problems. Assisting application developers with problem solving and file implementations Good at Data Base Management System theory and practice ADABAS architecture Natural Security Data Base Application design and implementation z/OS Job Control Language Data base administration tool suites JCL and Application Coding using Natural, COBOL and CICS ADABAS data base and Application performance and tuning Designing logical data models Executing physical implementations Effective working relationships with vendors, cross divisional staff; agency program staff, agency senior management, staff and management of other governmental and private sector entities Experience leading and coordinating various projects with a variety of other Several years with: ADABAS, Natural Security, COBOL, Adaprep, Predict and Natural Construct.
