The Telesales Account Executive (TAE) position is a phone based sales role marketing hardware, software and IT service solutions to small-to-medium sized businesses within an assigned geographical territory. Reports to Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Essential Job Responsibilities: As a Telesales Account Executive (TAE) you will market a comprehensive IT sales solution while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and managing gross profit by constantly acquiring new customers and growing base within those customers. The job will include the following, but not limited to Prospecting, cold calling and customer is receiving the most value and best pricing available. Stay up to date on product, solution and industry knowledge Attend required trainings and successfully pass required certifications Work closely with internal and external counterparts to deliver value added differentiation and maximize sales opportunity. End-to-end account ownership and first point of contact; from making the initial cold call, to introducing En Pointe, offering sales and service consultation, establishing credit terms, quoting, being a liaison to overlay specialist, vendors and other internal or external resources, sales order entry, customer reporting & tracking, proactive and reactive customer service follow up, RMA generation, etc.
Minimum Job Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent experience/education 1 year Sales Experience; industry experience preferred Phone based sales experience is preferred Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Windows, Excel) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work individually and in a team environment Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment Strong multi-tasking skills are required Exceptional customer service skills Self managing, but responds well to instruction, direction & coaching Hunter development of new customer relationships in assigned territory. Aggressive and consistent acquisition of net new buying (customer) accounts. Maintain and grow relationships (multiple contacts) within existing accounts. Land and Expand; once a new account is acquired, pursue other opportunities, IT lines of business and solutions to grow your business within that account. Provide value added consultation to customers in regards to their hardware, software and services needs. Solution Sales Approach Educate customers on the value derived from Software Licensing Programs and Hardware Pricing models Successfully understanding our Distribution Channel model in order to ensure the mentality Entrepreneurial Spirit Competitive and Driven Strong work ethic and desire to Win!
