Appleone has partnered with multiple companies in DFW seeking an additional Quality Assurance Supervisor. Due to the growth of their business they are currently expanding.
This entry level leadership position will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be responsible for the direct supervision of between eight and twelve Quality Assurance Techs.
Quality Assurance is responsible for measuring quality results against customer specifications and reporting variances to the other members of the
leadership team.
The successful candidate will support the Quality Assurance Manager in helping to create a culture of Quality by identifying variances, analyzing causes of variation, and working with Operations to develop, measure, and implement solutions.
The primary job responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Supervisor include, but are not limited to, the following:
? Provide direct leadership and supervision to the quality assurance team members in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
? Schedule and supervise the department to insure all quality audits are achieved consistently.
? Give consistent feedback to team members on results against targets.
? Schedule and lead regular team meetings.
? Coach and train employees to insure they are able to perform their jobs in
accordance with documented Standardized Work Instruction Forms (SWiF) and Operational Instruction Forms (OIF).
Conduct progressive discipline and counseling sessions with employees in a
professional manner to insure standards of performance are maintained and
achieved.
? Develop, document, and maintain Standardized Work Sheets (SWS), Operational
Instruction Forms (OIF), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Sheets for all department positions and processes.
? Identify barriers to performance and lead Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) Teams to successful completion.
? Maintain accurate records and documentation and insure all necessary department worksheets are completed in a timely manner.
? Work with Quality Assurance team to insure all quality standards are maintained and all quality goals are achieved.
? Communicate effectively across functions.
? Support deployment of HACCP plan.
? Insure company compliance with all GMPs and USDA guidelines and regulations.
? Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess:
? Excellent analytical and communication skills.
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, etc.
? Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
? An excellent work ethic and a high drive to succeed.
? The ability to speak Spanish and knowledge of Infinity QS software are both advantages.
