CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE ON THE NORTH SLOPE
MULTIPLE OPENINGS
The Project Manager will be responsible for development and execution of projects that are typically 200 million USD or smaller.
The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
• Demonstrate behaviors which promote a safe and environmentally responsible work process in all aspects of the job.
• Champion a stage-gated process and coordinate input from project team members for project evaluation and execution.
• Plan and lead the development of contracting, purchasing and construction management / execution strategies.
• Manage and report project cost, schedule, safety and operability, along with any other significant metrics of project success.
• Interface with client stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives with business drivers.
• Capture, communicate and apply lessons learned and best practices.
• Work with the Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Project Team to identify and effectively mitigate HSSE risk.
• Champion the utilization of HSSE best practices.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:
• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• Willingness and ability to travel up to and including 25% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of the position
• Extensive experience managing projects and resources in the oil and gas industry
• Experience in project design, engineering or management
• Strong knowledge of project management competencies, including project excellence stage-gated processes
• Strong experience designing and constructing liquid / gas pipelines
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in one or more states.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required
Certifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification in one or more states required
Languages
English fluency required
