Project Coordinator
Contract Description
The Logistics/Materials Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day support for North Slope Pipeline renewal, Make Piggable, and Pipeline Abandonment projects as it relates to logistics and materials. This role will provide support for Engineerined materials as well as logistical support from Appraise through the Execute phase.
Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
• Compile material schedules for multiple time varied projects with deliverables.
• Compile and submit cost forecast for materials and logistics; Air, truck, rail, and barge.
• Communicate with engineering resources regarding planned and future material and logistical activities.
• Monitor procurement / expediting activities and all requirements and services as requested in support of present and future programs.
• Ensure planned activities meet scheduled activities.
• Host weekly meetings coordinating the activities of scheduling, procurement, logistics, expediting and engineering ensuring successful project execution.
• Actively react to and solve material or logistical delays as they relate to project schedule. Research and recommend solutions to responsible project leads
• Participate as an active member of Lessons Learned reviews.
Experience & Knowledge
• Experience of logistics and material handling practices and in depth knowledge with North Slope material processes within an Arctic operational environment
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Strong analytical and commercial skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work within a team and on your own initiative
Preferred Qualifications
• Alaska North slope experience within the oil and gas industry
• Knowledge and experience of using Maximo, CMMS, Passport and relevant procurement systems
• Ability to work as required through time sensitive Project execution.
