EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST
CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE ON NORTH SLOPE, ALASKA.
Equipment Specialist
Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
• Engage in ‘determination of needs’ by communicating with equipment end-user groups.
• Develop equipment needs and specifications for Equipment Services.
• Develop and manage five year fleet renewal program.
• Ensure inspection of equipment prior to delivery.
• Work with the compliance coordinator to ensure proper equipment is being procured.
• Ensure timely and accurate cost tracking, reporting and forecasting.
Experience & Knowledge
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years heavy equipment or maintenance experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with heavy equipment in arctic conditions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel and Crystal Reports
