A Pennsylvania based capital equipment manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to sell water and wastewater equipments, parts, maintenance and services into the northern Rocky Mountain States. The company, recognized as one of the world’s most experienced wastewater equipment and process optimization experts, sells to chemical, industrial, wastewater, special mixing and other fluid mixing markets. Salesman must be experienced selling in the markets of industrial/ municipal water and wastewater MRO and services.
Job Responsibilities
· Sells equipment direct to clients in territory; uses company technical/ engineering assets as required to support targeted sales efforts; must be end-user focused
· Develops and maintains strong working relationships with customers in assigned geographic areas - works to assure that short and long term sales goals are achieved
· Provides accurate and meaningful marketing information, forecasting and product planning from customer points-of-view
· Provides a level of sales professionalism to achieve high degree of customer satisfaction
· Plans and manages travel schedules
Job Requirements
· Associates Degree minimum – engineering or environmental science a plus
· Technical sales background in industrial, chemical, water and wastewater services a must
· 5+ years experience in capital equipment and mechanical services sales
· Strong understanding of industrial and municipal business practices and effective sales techniques – must be able to manage and perform to business plan
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
