A D Nursing Program Director
Gulf Coast College seeks a dynamic, highly-motivated A D N Progran Nursing Program for our Tampa, Florida location. The Nursing Program Director will function as part of a leadership team. This individual will have overall leadership responsibilities in the development of programs and will maintain the quality and integrity of the program curriculum. The Director will also be responsible for staff/faculty development and professional practice.
The ideal candidate must be able to establish a comprehensive, written systematic plan of evaluation for the Nursing Programs that includes data collection from faculty, instructional personnel, students, graduates, and employers of graduates.
The applicant will also be responsible for academic accreditation. She/He should have prior experience in developing classes, clinical sites, maintaining written agreements with cooperating agencies and clinical sites, developing articulation agreements and supervising full-time and part-time faculty.
Requirements:
• Active unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida
• Master’s Degree in nursing from a Regionally accredited institution
• Progressive management experience to include five to seven years prior nursing leadership and teaching experience

• Prior experience in planning and preparing for academic accreditation
• Ability to serve as a positive, supportive, and enthusiastic role model.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work flow
• Requires superior interpersonal and facilitative skills
• Demonstrates proficiency in oral and written communication
• Must be self-directed and innovative
