AAA Unreal Level Designer

Have you gained experience shipping your first AAA title as an Unreal level Designer and are ready for your next challenge? Check this out!

Work with a seasoned and creatively driven team in a fun and fast-paced environment:

  • Take on developing level layouts, flow and balancing within the limits specified by the game design and technical limits of the target platform.
  • Implement major game play features to high quality, focusing on creating and implementing level designs.
  • Create exciting level/environment designs from paper to product, including the look and feel, gray boxes, game moments, game-flow, and balance.
  • Participate in meetings, weekly design reviews, and planning as part of effective communication with the team.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with all disciplines, including production, art and engineering.

This is an estimated 6-12 month contract position through Volt Technical & Creative Communication - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Bothell, Washington. Requirements:

Required Skills for this AAA Unreal Level Designer position includes the following:

  • 2+ years industry experience
  • 2+ years Unreal experience (knowledge of Prefabs and Matinee)
  • Minimum of 1 shipped AAA title and one current console generation title
  • Prototyping skills
  • Proactive work ethic, capable and creative problem solver who is not afraid of big challenges
  • Adobe Illustrator and 3D modeling experience a plus
