Accounting Manager/Controller

My client is a specialty wholesaler and is seeking an experienced accounting professional to take on the role of Accounting Manager/Controller.   The Company is located in Las Vegas, Nevada with operations in California, Mississippi and Nevada and consists of six different companies.  The Company is financially strong and the owners are involved in the day-to-day operations of the Company. 
 
This position will be hands-on with full responsibility for all accounting operations within the Company, including:
 
Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintenance of General ledger
Billings and Collections
Bank reconciliations
Month-end journal entries
Monthly financial reporting and analysis
Preparation of monthly sales tax returns
Cash flow projections and planning
Coordination of year-end financial reporting and tax work with outside CPA firm
Monitoring the internal controls and control environment of the company
 
Additionally, you will be tasked with overseeing the company’s IT, 401(k) plan, health insurance coverage and managing 5 team members.

Your experience should include:
• BA/BS in accounting required
• 7+ years of current/related experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Strong computer software knowledge.   Experience with Eclipse is a plus.
