ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Reporting to the Supervisor you will coordinate large volume accounts receivables, billing/credit transactions, and collection calls; self-motivation with the ability to work independently with a professional demeanor in a fast paced supportive environment are keys to your success.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and resolve customer billing and payment problems in a timely manner so as to expedite cash flow and minimize accounts receivable delinquency. 

Collect outstanding accounts receivable dollars through assertive, professional, telephone contact with customers.

Conduct evaluations of the credit worthiness of customers.

Participate in credit industry group reporting and meetings, when needed.

Prepare and analyze reports using excel spreadsheets.

Miscellaneous projects as required.

Other responsibilities will include applying cash, preparing customer credits and billings, and entering billing overrides. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

3 years experience working with high volume customer accounts and complex accounts receivable, billing, credit and collection processes.

Supply Chain/Distribution experience a plus.

Superb written and verbal communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Detail oriented with ability to plan, organize and prioritize.

Ability to handle high pressure situations in a professional manner

Ability to work independently and within a team environment
