We have an immediate need for a AF+G PLANNER
JOB DESCRIPTION
CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE ON THE NORTH SLOPE OF ALASKA.
The AF&G Planner roles and responsibilities include:
• Create detailed resource loaded schedules within Primavera
• Estimate and coordinate AF&G Construction, FCO and commissioning resources and activities
• Estimate and Coordinate available resources with area O&M Team Leaders
• Ensure all work and job plans meet all HSSE, Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
• Track multiple projects in multiple areas
• Coordinate contractors (all crafts) including optimal crew sizing and supervision
• Schedule contractors, equipment and deliveries
• Work with Materials coordinator to ensure timely staging and delivery to worksite of engineered equipment and materials
• Schedule resources for Factory Acceptance Testing, System Acceptance testing
• Support control of work efforts in the planning Process such as Permit to Work, Energy Isolation etc…
• Candidates must be capable of:
o Exhibiting HSE Leadership
o Managing conflict with internal and external sources
o Understanding current project best practices and common processes to ensure these are embedded within the team
Experience & Knowledge
To be considered for the role of Planner, applicants must have the following qualifications:
• Past experience of as Planner
• Experience working with small teams and contractors
• Extensive experience with Primavera
• Experience with P6
• University degree
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate the following:
• Extensive experience in planning and scheduling of projects
• Experience in planning and scheduling brownfield modification projects
• Experience with MS Project
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Languages
English fluency required
