Our Alexandria, VA Office is seeking a Staff Geologist. Candidate will be required to perform field work such as soil, vapor, and groundwater sampling, well drilling, well installation, aquifer testing, maintenance of soil and groundwater treatment systems, compilation of field data, and preparation of work plans, health and safety plans, and technical reports. Candidate must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Some interaction with client is required.

Candidate must have a minimum of a BS in geology or hydrogeology, (Master's degree highly preferred). 0-3 years experience. OSHA 40 hour HazWoper certification desirable but not required, training will be provided by employer. Candidate should have strong oral and written communication skills. Career track professional scientist leading towards professional registration or certification.
