APG Technician
Description:
This position will support our F-16 Program in the UAE.
Duties: APG/Specialist with the responsibility of daily flight requirements of F-16 Block 60 Aircraft. Provide for the launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/BPO inspections, ground handling, minor maintenance, and servicing. Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical systems and components on the aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance. Responsible all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft. Will be required to perform Aero Repair functions as required. This includes but is not limited to major maintenance such as landing gear replacement, flight control replacement and accomplish Periodical Inspections.\n\n\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Candidate must have at least 4 years experience with documented F-16 aircraft certification. Progressive and documented experience in the APG environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields and production supervisor experience will be viewed as a positive element during employment consideration. Working with foreign nationals experience is highly desired and will be viewed as a positive element during employment consideration. A strong understanding of the maintenance process and the ability to advise and train foreign nationals is desired. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access) is mandatory. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure a DOD secret clearance.\n\nAssignment location is in UAE.
