JOB SUMMARY


 


Application Programmer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, designing, programming, testing, debugging, and documenting new and current applications. This position may require Microsoft Domain Administrative Access. Travel as necessary.


 


 


Required skills: Classic ASP, VB6 (COM+), SQL2000, SQL2005, ASP.Net, VB.Net., Microsoft Reporting Services, Coordination with out-sourcing partners as needed.

§         Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or equivalent education and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.


§         Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals


§         May lead and direct the work of others


§         A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


 



  1. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

 



  1. Technical expertise in Visual Basic, ASP, COM/DCOM, COM+, MTS, ADO, IIS, DHTML, Client-side Javascript, SMTP (with CDO), Visual Studio, SQL 2000 (tuning, schema maintenance, stored procedures and triggers), and related technologies.

 



  1. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, growing company environment that has a wide range of possible daily activities and demanding users.

 



  1. Self-starter who can function independently and handle multiple priorities on a day-to-day basis.

 



  1. Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
