POSITION:

The AR/Trade Spend Manager will be a core member of the Finance team .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process Invoices (ensure proper pricing, promo discounts, etc)
• Perform credit analysis of prospective customers
• Prepare credit memos for trade spend, bill backs, etc
• Work with Sales to manage the tracking/recovery of unauthorized deductions
• Place collection calls to resolve customer account disputes in a timely manner
• Work with collection agencies to collect on non-paying accounts while monitoring bad debt
• Monitor account receivable balances and identify issues attributing to account delinquency

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2 + years of Accounts Receivable experience REQUIRED.
• Consumer Products experience REQUIRED, primarily in the food and beverage environment.
• Must have collections experience and basic accounting skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
• SAP Business One experience a plus.
• EDI experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work with cross-functional departments, including Sales/Customer Service.
• Use the telephone in a professional and courteous manner.
