Senior AS400/RPG Programmer/Analyst with 8+ years experience, extremely skilled and ability to work in fast-paced environment

This position has the potential/expectation to develop into a long term or direct hire after three months. The direct hire salary will be approximately $70k-80k depending on experience.

What will you be doing:
- Able to deliver RPG/ILE and CL/ILE code that meets or exceeds specifications provided
- Deliver acceptable code in the agreed upon time frame with no major defects
- Perform own testing
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with minimal supervision and within multiple time constraints
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment
- Assist the user groups in developing specifications
-Prepare program specifications and application designs
-Provide project status updates

What do you need to qualify:
- 8+ years experience in programming and development on the AS400
- AS400 RPG/ILE, CL/ILE, SQL
- Must be able to read and convert RPG III code to RPG/ILE
- Application development experience and ability to analyze user requirements and specifications
