L.L.BEAN RETAIL STORE ASSISTANT MANAGER - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive store sales results by ensuring world-class customer service.
  • Model sales floor presence, and motivate, lead and coach sales associates, creating a highly engaged and customer focused team.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication with team, customers and home office partners.
  • Create development and training plans for direct reports.
  • Use expertise in retail operations to manage shipping, receiving and inventory flow to floor.
  • Apply merchandising standards to effectively convey the brand.
  • Recruit, select and hire store team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years' retail experience managing a high volume ($3M+) store.
  • Experience supervising up to 30 employees.
  • Strong logistical background in sales performance and expense control.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and interpreting sales reports.
  • Proven ability in store operations.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of AS 400 and MS Office a plus.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate preferred.
