ASSOCIATE, LEGISLATIVE AND INFORMATION SERVICES

The Vermont League of Cities & Towns has an immediate opening for an Associate to provide public policy and advocacy services on behalf of Vermont's municipal governments. Responsibilities include legislative advocacy in the State House, conducting research, serving as liaison with affiliate organizations, extensive writing, and assisting the VLCT Municipal Assistance Center with inquiries from members.

Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS software are necessary. Experience in a public interest association and basic understanding of local government are highly desirable. Must have BA in political science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
