Associate Product Manager
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing programs to ensure successful business operations. He or she will be responsible for many aspects of product management, including but not limited to: development of marketing and tactical plans, managing budgets and forecasts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the revenue growth and profitability of the product/business portfolio.
- Develop/execute strategies and plans in support of market segments, customers, and products consistent with the overall business plan.
- Lead, champion and communicate a compelling vision regarding needs, strategy and tactics for assigned markets/customers.
- Responsible for managing and providing clear directions to cross-functional teams to ensure strategic and flawless execution of initiatives within regulatory and legal requirements.
- Monitor market dynamics, competition and evaluate segment penetration opportunities.
- Manage key customer relationships.
- Responsible for budget and sales forecast.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to regularly and systematically manage the revenue growth and profitability of the product/business portfolio.
- Ability to develop/execute strategies and plans in support of market segments, customers, and products consistent with the overall business plan.
- Ability to lead, champion and communicate a compelling vision regarding needs, strategy and tactics for assigned markets/customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or Marketing or a related degree, with an MBA being preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make decisions and solve problems independently.
- 2-4 years in a sales, marketing, or customer service related position, preferably in a medical manufacturing organization and related technical experience.
- 1-2 years of product management experience preferred.
