About the Job
Automotive Mechanic
The City of Gadsden is
currently accepting applications for a Automotive Mechanic. This is a full-time position with benefits. The salary range for this position is $20,987.20-$32,718.40
The purpose of this position is to service and maintain
the City's heavy equipment, trucks, and vehicles.
Duties include, but are not limited to: repairing and maintaining the City's fleet
of vehicles, making on-road service call, providing basic tune-ups and performing
additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
High School diploma
(or GED) required, with one to three years of Mechanic experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position. Alabama Commercial Driver's License required and a ASE
Certification is required.
Apply in room 201, Gadsden City Hall between the hours of 9:00-11:00am
and 2:00-4:00 pm.
Monday-Friday.
