This position is responsible for assisting/managing Financial Reporting for the Company and Subsidiaries.  Primary responsibility for preparation SEC filings of Form 10-K and 10-Q and related supporting documentation.  In addition prepare and support various 8-K filings.  Additionally provide accounting guidance related to certain financial reporting issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Manage the quarterly preparation and first level review of SEC filings.

·        Assist in supporting the day to day aspects of the independent registered accountant relationship (Ernst & Young).

·        Have an understanding of accounting standards that impact the Company (i.e. SFAS 142 and 157, 159).

·        Possess the ability to oversee the organization and related tasks in filing SEC documents.

·        Work with line and BFO management to provide assistance technical and process accounting issues.

·        Complete other assignments as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

The individual should possess a B.S. degree in accounting, holding a CPA designation would be preferable.  In addition, the individual should have 5 to 8 years experience in an accounting/financial reporting environment (preferably banking).  The incumbent should have at least 3 years of prior SEC experience, be familiar with PC-based accounting software packages, and additionally have excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
