AVP - Production Support Manager/Business Analyst/Project Manager for Full-time Opportunity!!

Job Description

Our client, a commercial bank headquartered in New York City with offices around the world, is seeking an Assistant Production Support Manager/Business Analyst/Project Manager (AVP – Assistant Vice President), for a full-time permanent opportunity. The employee will sit in the bank’s mid-town office.

 

Combined Experience

70 to 100% - Senior Business Systems Analyst, or Banking Operations Manager with Systems Experience, and project management skills – 5 Years Min.

AND

0% to 30%  - Senior Business Systems Analyst, or Securities Operations Manager with Systems Experience, and project management skills – 5 Years Min.

 

Education

BBA; MBA a plus

 

Knowledge Check List (at least the first two (2) items required)

Any banking system package –  JHA Silverlake or CIF20/20 a plus

Any trading system package – SunGard/Phase3 a plus

AS400 operations (OS side knowledge a plus)

AS400 Query (or equivalent tools e.g., SQL)

Any level of experience in the following other system (any vendor equivalent)

-                      FX trading (FOCUS a plus)

-                      Wire Transfer (PayPlus a plus)

-                      Check Processing (FiServ a plus)

-                      ATM Processing (Metavante a plus)

-                      AML (Global a plus)

-                      Profitability (FTI Open Solutions a plus)

-                      Letters of Credit (Exembills a plus)

-                      Optical image (RVI a plus)

-                      EuroClear (upcoming CCI a plus; otherwise EUCLIDPC)

-                      OFAC (Accuity a plus)

-                      ACH Processing (PC AIMS/NY Clearing a plus)

-                      FedLine Direct/Advantage (U.S. Savings Bonds/TT&L/MQ for wires)

-                      Investment Portfolio Accounting (IPA a plus)

-                      VISA Cards (Card Source a plus)

-                      SWIFT (Alliance System a plus)

 

Skills Check List

-                      Progressively responsible project management skills – planning, testing, coordinating/facilitating, implementing new operation support systems and/or upgrading operations support systems for banking and securities operations.

-                      Ability to troubleshoot issues related to all supported systems with users and vendor as needed.

-                      Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently as needed.

-                      Ability to work effectively with senior and middle management.  Ability to work effectively with end users.

-                      Ability to work with vendor technical personnel and/or operational support personnel.

 

Work Hours

Flexible – early start to assure overnight process completed successfully; night coverage rotational (approx 10:30 PM) monthly; work overnight and/or weekends as needed (generally project related).
