Account Administrator Data Analyst – Workers Compensation / Disability

Preliminary Qualifications:  Must pass a Typing Test at a minimum of 6,000 keystrokes per hour (kph) with 98-100% accuracy

 

Shift Hours:  These are rotational 8-hour shifts between the broader hours of 8:00am-8:00pm; Must have ability to work within these timeframes.  No routine conflicts to this.   

 

Attendance:

·          No planned time off is allowed for first 3 months of assignment

·          After 3 months, a minimum of one week advance notice is needed for time off requests

·          On occasions of unforeseen lateness or illness, responsibility is to call immediate supervisor (first) and a representative of agency employer (second).

 

 Responsibilities:    

·          Support the data entry / registration of all new business for Disability Management; Our clients are Third Party Administrators ( TPA ‘s )

·          Provide accurate and efficient referral processing within established timeframes, including case registration, case assignment and monitoring client job queues

·          Complete appropriate Field Case Manager case assignments timely

·          Gather and enter required demographic, referral and case assignment information into appropriate systems timely and accurately

·          Communicate assignments to the client timely and professionally

·          Provide exceptional service to clients by appropriately handling incoming calls, researching problems, answering questions, providing information and forwarding messages as needed.

·          Generate and distribute ad hoc and standard production reports as requested, including Actuate report generation, local management reports, and state reports

·          Process case updates and change requests accurately and timely at direction of District Managers and the Central Maintenance Unit within the appropriate systems

·          Close Case File processing per specified instructions

·          Mail and fax processing to include photocopy and distribution as appropriate

·          Cross training in order to support various roles within unit as needed

·          Ensure all communications, including spreadsheets and reports, are professional in nature and appropriate for the intended audience

·          Responsible for providing project support as required

·          Coordinate efforts and communications with appropriate matrix partners

 

Qualifications:

·          Data Entry skills of at least 6,000+ kph with 98-100% accuracy

·          Experience in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook (INCLUDE ON RESUME)

·          Experience with Data Analysis of Healthcare data

·          Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Medical Terminology will be given Stronger Consideration

·          Customer Service Representative experience

·          Minimum of some College experience – higher preference given to College grads

·          Longevity of jobs comprising career

·          Hi-volume work experience in a production environment using computers

·          Capable of analytical thinking and independent decision making, requiring little hand-holding

·          Excellent oral and written communication skills

·          Strong time management and organizational skills

·          Resourceful and proactive in research and problem solving

·          Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced customer focused environment

·          Detail oriented

·          WILL consider recent college grads with major in a Health discipline, esp. if held an applicable internship

 

Background Checks  &  Drug Screen

·          Within 24-48 hours of accepting a contingent offer of employment, all candidates will be required to take a Drug test. In addition, a detailed Criminal Background check will be conducted and used as a screening tool as permitted by law.
