The ONESOURCE Sales & Use Tax business of Thomson Reuters (Tax & Accounting) is the leader in sales and use tax compliance services to companies of all sizes. Our outsourced solution is a decisive improvement over in-house or competitive approaches… ultimately providing clients with increased levels of control and reduced risk. We are currently looking for a sharp professional to join our team as an Account Associate.
Your Challenges:
- Exercise your thirst for reconciliation by determining accurate tax liability and analyzing client reports.
- Call upon your high attention to detail to validate client data and prepare sales/use tax returns.
- Ensure accurate flow of the returns through our internally developed software systems.
- Delight our clients with exceptional customer service
- Initiate the effective resolution of jurisdiction notices for our clients
- Demonstrate your superior time management skills to meet our continuous monthly tax deadlines
- Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics or management field, or 4 years equivalent accounting experience.
- Proven history and ability of exceeding client expectations
- Reconciliation and research experience in accounting related function
- Strong analytical abilities and detail oriented.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Sales/use tax experience a very strong plus
- Prior accounting experience in a large volume environment: payables, payroll, general ledge or sales tax
- Must be a team player, but have the ability to work independently
