The ONESOURCE Sales & Use Tax business of Thomson Reuters (Tax & Accounting) is the leader in sales and use tax compliance services to companies of all sizes. Our outsourced solution is a decisive improvement over in-house or competitive approaches… ultimately providing clients with increased levels of control and reduced risk. We are currently looking for a sharp professional to join our team as an Account Associate.

Your Challenges:

Exercise your thirst for reconciliation by determining accurate tax liability and analyzing client reports.

Call upon your high attention to detail to validate client data and prepare sales/use tax returns.

Ensure accurate flow of the returns through our internally developed software systems.

Delight our clients with exceptional customer service

Initiate the effective resolution of jurisdiction notices for our clients

Demonstrate your superior time management skills to meet our continuous monthly tax deadlines

Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics or management field, or 4 years equivalent accounting experience.

Proven history and ability of exceeding client expectations

Reconciliation and research experience in accounting related function

Strong analytical abilities and detail oriented.

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Sales/use tax experience a very strong plus

Prior accounting experience in a large volume environment: payables, payroll, general ledge or sales tax

Must be a team player, but have the ability to work independently
