As an Account Consultant you can expect to:
- Communicate daily with HR Administrators (clients) that are utilizing our software for their on-line benefits enrollment and ongoing benefits administration (eEnrollment).
- Manage 200 to 400 employer groups, or accounts, ranging in size from 1 member to as many as 10,000+ members. We have recently added thousands of groups and are continuing to do so on the West Coast and Northeast with new Insurance Carrier Partners.
- Navigate each HR Administrator, or client, through our software application process. You will research problems, report issues to insurance carriers and report all escalations to the appropriate manager.
- Act as a liaison between the Engineering team and the client when tracking open technical issues found in our software application.
- Take an average of 30 to 50 calls a day and follow up with our customers in a timely manner.
- Assist HR Administrators with changes or updates to their employees health coverage, addition or cancellation of coverage and assist with policy renewals.
- Prioritize tasks and keep a continuous relationship with insurance carriers, clients and internal resources.
- Respond to email requests from the client that may include additional information on employee terminations or additions and policy expirations and renewals.

Experience and Skills:
- BA/BS degree
- 2+ years experience in an Account Management or Client Relationship Management role in a professional work environment
- Must enjoy working as part of a team and providing anticipatory service
- Must be able to manage and prioritize each clients' needs daily
- Good problem solving and follow-up skills are a must
- Previous experience working with CRM or an advanced database system
- Previous knowledge of benefit plans/structures a plus
