Serve as liaison between Sales and Account Management to maximize selling and service opportunities within the established client company. Serve as champion for growth opportunities within client companies through hands-on, proactive sales analysis and program development and analysis. Consistently communicate to client range of additional services that J. Knipper provides. Maintain awareness of competitive programs and challenges and communicate these to J. Knipper staff. Identify issues at Client Company that impede growth and recommend swift, effective solutions.
· Ensure all program objectives and strategies meet overall criteria established by company and provide
direction to facilitate continuous improvement among team members
· Keep abreast of the status of client programs. Includes high-level variance tracking of schedule and
budget and understanding of allocated resources.
· Responsible for supervising all Project Management activities for their assigned accounts
· Demonstrate a customer-driven and relationship-oriented account management philosophy.
· Expand new sales opportunities within the existing client base.
· Visit clients on a regular basis.
· Interface with the client’s vendors when appropriate.
· Develop new program design for existing client base.
· Provide leadership and analytical support in the execution of all client programs.
· Serve as a liaison between Sales, Operations and Program Management departments.
· Interact with Sales and Finance to ensure maximum billing revenues.
· Update SVP weekly on key program activities, staffing concerns, health of client relationships and progress
towards defined goals.
· Develop a yearly department plan that is in alignment with the company business plan and is designed to
accomplish assigned objectives from the leadership team
· Stay current on industry trends.
· Analyze programs and suggest areas for process improvement.
· Provide input to Sales and Operations of all potential issues that could impact a client.
· Prepare and deliver client presentations and provide feedback to Sales and Account Management.
· Monitor client activities to and in sales forecasting.
· Support both the internal and ongoing sales activity by serving as an effective, technical support to the
sales process.
· Participate in the escalation process in order to resolve client issues.
· Responsible for communicating company vision and objectives in order to drive desired changes.
Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree (B. A./ B. S.) required. Business Experience: Ten years management experience with related production and direct mail knowledge.
