Fast-growing leader in the digital physician information industry seeks an Account Director to focus on Business to Business adverting sales for its rapidly expanding team.
The Company: Custom Briefings (“CB”), a division of Bulletin News LLC, produces and delivers over 1,000,000 daily e-newsletters to a pure list of business to business professionals. The e-newsletters are delivered each day directly to the in-boxes of the membership of 30 major associations, such as the, American Medical Association, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, National Association of Manufacturers, National Education Association, and other highly respected business associations. CB is growing fast and will rollout additional information services for its large, specialized audiences. CB has built one of the most valuable daily audiences of business professionals and is now building a stellar sales team to generate revenue through digital advertising.
The Position: As Account Director, you will be responsible for managing and developing a sales territory and working all phases of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Our customers are business marketers, and your overall mission is to build relationships and put together advertising campaigns that help them achieve their marketing goals.
If you are a rising star selling advertising to B2B companies or help design digital campaigns for companies or their advertising agencies, and can translate that experience to an integrated marketing/sales operation, we would like you to consider a more lucrative career at CB. You must be able to understand what our customers are trying to achieve, design programs that accomplish these objectives, write smart proposals, dig into the numbers to help clients optimize ROI, and get the next IO based on having delivered real value.
The Product: CB briefings are delivered exclusively to the professionals of each CB-partner association. The well-read content is customized to meet the specific needs of each association’s membership. Each briefing is valued and read by the members of the associations, carries the valuable association brand, is targeted by specialty, and represents a unique and valuable advertising opportunity for our customers.
Requirements:
· A complete understanding of digital/online advertising, preferably through a proven record of success.
· Marketing mindset (qualitative and quantitative) but with an innate ability to develop and sell a sophisticated program.
· Proven service mindset.
· Exceptional communication skills, including written.
· Extraordinary attention to detail.
Location:
· CB is located in Reston, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C.
Compensation:
· Highly competitive base and full benefits. Strong performance will result in total compensation of $120k+ per year, with upside.
