Account Executive – Enterprise Software Solutions
CompuSight is seeking an experienced, hands-on, aggressive, and highly-motivated account executive with deep local relationships and contacts to be based out of Seattle, WA. This senior sales role will be responsible for generating meetings with decision makers in local companies to offer custom software development services and business intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sales and marketing plan for the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain opportunity pipeline that drives sales activities, ensuring that revenue goals are exceeded.
- Disciplined and accurate reporting of opportunity pipeline and sales activities.
- Identify and set up meetings with managers and executives with local companies to deliver custom products and services primarily through networking and cold calling.
- Follow up with leads generated from marketing activities.
- Eloquently explain to customers sourced software development services.
- Identify, assess, and determine feasibility of customer opportunities.
- Negotiate and close opportunities with key targeted customers / prospects.
- Manage customer relationships before, during, and after projects.
- Work with Project Managers and Engineering to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- Multiple years direct sales experience selling services in a consulting environment as a Sales Manager, Account Executive, Sales Executive or related.
- Ability to demonstrate deep local contacts, willingness to be hands on networking and cold calling extensively.
- Demonstrated ability to:
o exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives,
o identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities,
o develop and maintain effective business, sales, and marketing plans,
o implement and follow successful sales processes.
- Strong ability to create sales presentations, messages, position statements, and other sales collateral.
- Ability to communicate with and present to all levels within prospect’s organization as well as within CompuSight.
- Self-starter and independent thinker with the aptitude to work autonomously.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level, senior business IT executives or business owners.
- Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
- Excellent PC and Internet skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, sales force automation and web meeting tools.
- Experience with onshore / offshore delivery model is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise application solutions, business intelligence, data warehousing or other emerging software technologies and solutions is a plus.
