Classroom Technology - Account Executive                ( NY,NJ,DC,TX,MD,PA,FL,GA,KY,TN)

Job Duties and Major Responsibilities:


 


 



  • Responsible for sales of RM Education’s Total Classroom Solution, into K-12 Marketplace

    • Interactive Whiteboards, Slates, Projectors, Audio Systems, Education Software & Services

  • Achieve defined objectives, develop account plans and manage sales pipeline to meet targets
  • Manage sales funnel to analyze and maintain pipeline of forecasted opportunities against assigned quotas
  • Develop new business opportunities leveraging network of customers, current client relationships, & prospect leads; must be adept at developing relationships at the Superintendent level on down
  • Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to determine needs, issues, strategies, and priorities to deliver a value-added solution
  • Acquire and integrate education industry knowledge related to current trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ solutions
  • Collaborate with local education services agencies to gain access to K-12 targets; understand procurement process for school districts in assigned territory; school budgeting cycles
  • Insure customer satisfaction with responsive and active account management
  • Work as Team Player
  • Other project-oriented tasks as assigned by Manager

 


 


 


Required Skills and Experience


 


Knowledge of the K-12 technology solutions and educational funding sources


Proven success selling technology into the k-12 educational market


Highly articulate, solid communicator, detail oriented and fast learner


Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills


Exceptional presentation skills, strong business sense, and technical knowledge


Energetic, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently


Consultative sales experience closing large deals within K-12 market


Expert Account Management skills


Relationship selling style


Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM


4 year college degree required


Travel required within assigned territory (must have driver’s license)


Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs


Home-office based.
