Philadelphia Insurance Companies (AM Best rating of A+ X), designs, markets and underwrites commercial property and casualty insurance products on a niche basis. The Tigard, OR office is seeking an experienced Account Executive to support the Marketing Department.
The primary focus of this position is to assist the Marketing Department in managing accounts, attaining sales goals and maintaining effective relationships with independent agents. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: assist in the acquisition of new business, manage the renewal process on existing accounts; process policy change requests, answer incoming regional telephone calls and various other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Prior insurance experience is required. Three plus years experience in commercial lines as a customer service representative, assistant underwriter or account executive a plus. * Experience in servicing, underwriting or managing commercial accounts in the following lines of business: Property, General Liability, Automobile, and Umbrella a plus. * Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. * Must be results oriented and possess a strong sense of urgency. * Automation skills a must.
