Account Executive

Manage relationship with assigned new and existing National Account clients(10,000 + lives); mobilize support staff to maintain and strengthen account relationships, grow the business and resolve issues and problems. Generates revenue growth by developing and executing case specific business plans. Responsible for retaining existing customers, expanding in-force business and selling renewals. Typically assigned to National Account (10,000+ eligible lives) that varies in complexity from less complex to highly complex in nature. Coordinates marketing, sales and support services for National Account Institutional Accounts. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with clients, brokers, consultants, and internal business partners that result in increased sales revenue, client persistency, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for achieving profitability target on book of business and negotiate effectively to achieve persistency and increase in revenue. Presents the financial components of a re-rate including retention, risk, and year-end accounting. In addition, provide clients periodically (e.g. quarterly) premium and claim comparison analysis on both participating and non-participating business. May provide guidance to more junior staff. Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills and a solid knowledge of Prudential products and services. Demonstrated success in servicing National Accounts in the group insurance and/or managed care industry. The ideal candidate has7- 10 + years of relevant experience, a record of accomplishment and ability to develop and grow relationships and maintain a solid retention rate with National Account clients.
