- Conduct needs based sales and interviews
- Contact prospects to generate interest in sales appointments
- This position covers the Midwestern US territory including TX, OK, KS, AR, MO, IO, IL, IN, MN
- Significant travel will be required (50-70% travel)
- Be willing to continually prospect for new business and service existing customers
Experience and Knowledge
- Must have 7-10 years experience in successful business development and account management including selling/calling on executives - a proven track record of generating results!
- Must have prior success calling on company executives in a highly competitive market
- Insurance industry knowledge and experience is a plus
- Experience with insurance or financial products is a plus
Skills and Abilities
- Strong closing skills
- Strong communication skills, exceptional phone and listening skills, and above average problem solving ability
- Strong organizational skills and desire to achieve
- Must be able to meet the significant travel requirements for this position
- Effective PC skills required (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
