  • Conduct needs based sales and interviews
  • Contact prospects to generate interest in sales appointments
  • This position covers the Midwestern US territory including TX, OK, KS, AR, MO, IO, IL, IN, MN
  • Significant travel will be required (50-70% travel)
  • Be willing to continually prospect for new business and service existing customers

Experience and Knowledge

  • Must have 7-10 years experience in successful business development and account management including selling/calling on executives - a proven track record of generating results!
  • Must have prior success calling on company executives in a highly competitive market
  • Insurance industry knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Experience with insurance or financial products is a plus

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong closing skills
  • Strong communication skills, exceptional phone and listening skills, and above average problem solving ability
  • Strong organizational skills and desire to achieve
  • Must be able to meet the significant travel requirements for this position
  • Effective PC skills required (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Sandler Sales Training a plus
