Midwestern Services, Inc. is a leading provider of tank cleaning services in the United States. We provide these services to Pipelines, independent Terminals, and Refineries who operate large and very large aboveground storage tanks.

SCOPE
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for profitable revenue growth in his area. Revenue growth must be aggressive and must be consistent from year to year. Must have a sales style that is organized, disciplined and systematic and maintain an enthusiastic and positive approach. You must be able to produce and will be directly responsible for meeting and exceeding your the sales revenue goals on a weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual basis. Must value and build teamwork within the sales department and throughout the organization. The successful candidate must be willing to direct his / her efforts to the priorities set out by the Executive Team.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFCATIONS:
- Must have at least 5 years experience in selling services to the oil industry or 10 years experience managing the maintenance of large storage tanks in the oil industry and the desire and aptitude to be in sales.
- Specific experience and contacts in the refinery and or the pipeline industry are desirable and technical understanding of large storage tank maintenance is a plus.
- Must have an undergraduate degree in business or a related skill.
- Must have superior communications skills - upward and downward.
- Must be able to develop, prepare and implement short and long term plans and insure that they conform to corporate objectives.
- Must be able to plan, organize, and perform sales and be accountable for meeting your goals and a budget,
- Must be willing to direct his / her efforts to the priorities set out be the Sales manager.
Computer Skills:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ACT.
- Very computer literate, experienced and comfortable working with computers in both a networked and a mobile environment.
Personal:
- Must be a personality fit and a team player.
- Must be Honest, loyal, motivated, articulate, courteous, credible, and convincing.
- Must be a perceptive self starter who can implement effective sales programs and make adjustments for market swings and competitors activities.
- To summarize, the successful candidate must be a proven sales or tank maintenance professional who can implement strategic sales plans and bring target accounts to closure and working with a team.
