Cleverley + Associates provides consulting services, custom and web-based comparative performance reporting tools, and custom databases. Our primary focus is on creating long-term consulting relationships with our clients that provide them with the expert analyses they need to achieve their financial goals. Our primary customer base is hospital executives and analysts; however we also work with other organizations serving the healthcare industry.
Centrally located in Worthington, Ohio, Cleverley + Associates is looking to hire an experienced Regional Account Manager (inside sales) who will be expected to develop and expand business in an assigned territory through outbound sales activities and maintain exceptional customer relations with existing clients. The primary responsibilities are to market the company’s products via telephone to prospects and existing customers and manage client projects through completion acting as the primary contact between the client and Cleverley + Associates staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize selling skills and techniques to sell Cleverley + Associates products to prospects, referrals and existing customers.
- Become an expert on assigned territory, learning market conditions and competitive landscape which will lead to increased sales and growing client base.
- Become familiar with internal production processes and be able to communicate project requirements to clients as well as with internal staff.
- Manage projects and project communications to insure client satisfaction and retention.
- Respond to and/ or qualify leads generated by various marketing efforts including website inquiries, trade show leads and other activities.
- Utilize web-based demonstrations to educate prospects and customers on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Conduct product research; gather competitive information on products, prices, and promotions.
- Provide customers with information as it pertains to product updates and new products.
- Foster a team selling environment with other Account Managers to develop effective sales tactics and share strategies.
- Meet and/ or exceed assigned monthly/ quarterly/ annual goals.
- Attend Cleverley + Associates sales meetings, departmental meetings, trade shows and training sessions.
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related area required.
Experience:
- 5+ years outbound sales/ telemarketing experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of and experience with various sales techniques
- Proven inside sales experience and successful closing background
- Experience with territory development and prospecting
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office products and contact management software
- Experience in healthcare or finance is preferred

- Experience with CRM software such as SalesLogix, Goldmine, or Act!
- Ability to be creative and develop different approaches to enhance sales efforts
