THIS POSITION WILL REPORT DIRECTLY TO OUR LOVELAND, COLORADO OFFICE, BUT WILL MAINTAIN A WORK FROM HOME OFFICE IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA MARKET AREA.
Maintains good working relationships and cooperates actively with superiors and other company and outside associates to ensure that the objectives of the company are met.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
In this role, under limited supervision, this individual is focused on sales and relationship management with the company's most valued customers. The senior sales representative plans, organizes, and prioritizes customer prospecting calls, sales appointments, follow-up calls, customer training, and sales demonstrations for national or regional and strategic accounts as assigned. He or she is responsible for identifying key decision makers within customer business channels, developing written sales plans and RFP responses. The sales representative is responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities and making sure the customer is familiar with all KFD products and services. The responsibilities of this position span the full range of account relationship management including creating, implementing and achieving operating plan objectives for revenue growth and profit.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve sales objectives for revenue growth while operating within corporate profit objectives.
- Responsible for continuously improving our account relationships by effectively managing the sales, customer expectations and business requirements.
- Manage account relationships to identify early indications of risks and opportunities.
- Complete required sales reports in a timely fashion. Document account status and progress within SharePoint contact management system within established time frames.
- Submit periodic account sales forecasts as required.
- Conducts periodic post-sale customer care visits to answer customer questions, solve customer problems, maintain rapport with customers, and identify any service needs.
- Review customer requirements with senior sales executives and other KFD stakeholders to obtain information and develop strategies for meeting customer requirements.
- Write RFP responses that recommend KFD technology, products and services, and provide financial information to meet customer vendor approval process requirements.
- Submit sales plans that coordinate activities to achieve revenue objectives
- Obtain and integrate competitive information into presentations and demonstrations.
- Write reports and deliver presentations in order to share information with sales executives and other KFD personnel.
- Work with Sales Managers to establish profitable pricing structures for assigned clients.
- Overcome price objections and analyze pricing structures to determine overall impact.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through customer care follow up calls and appointments.
- Review account profit and loss statements when possible.
- Facilitate price increases and implement cost efficiencies to improve client profitability.
- Follow established expense control for sales related travel.
- Display effective time and territory management skills.
- Report all expenditures in accordance with KFD expense management policy
- Understand customer work flow in order to leverage KFD technologies for automating customer environment.
- Work with KFD operations staff to insure all internal efficiencies are exploited.
- Attend planning and review meetings as required for sales forecasting and strategy development.
- Attend team meetings and participate in developing creative solutions to existing problems.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Expertise in all Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer and experience working in a remote desktop environment.
- Must display an ability to work with KFD's proprietary software.

Experience:
5 + years experience in sales related position within KFD industry.
Education:
BS degree in Marketing/Sales, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
