LOCATION: Remote - Eastern U.S.
PURPOSE
The Account Executive will provide each client with a single point of contact who owns the long-term, consultative client relationship. Every Account Executive will ensure that client relationships are positive, collaborative, and result in the highest degree of client confidence in VisionAIR. The Account Executive will:
• Maximize client satisfaction
• Maximize client retention
• Maximize revenue growth from existing clients
• Ensure that VisionAIR clients are the leaders in consolidations & multi-agency initiatives
• Expand VisionAIR’s footprint at each client site
• Improve long term sales to new clients
The Account Executive is an aggressive, motivated professional that will sell to and support mid-sized client agencies. This person must possess strong consultative and strategic selling and problem solving abilities. Frequent travel is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience with demonstrated effort toward professional development. Proven sales track-record that demonstrates successfully meeting or exceeding quota. Minimum of five years of sales and/or account management experience or client support experience in the Public Safety market.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Great communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Public Safety Software industry knowledge, as well as a thorough understanding of Solutions Selling and its applicability is a plus. Ability to work independently and to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients. Client service oriented.
Equipment and Applications
Excellent MS Office Suite skills, with emphasis in Windows, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of public safety software or the entire VisionAIR Public Safety Software Suite a plus. This position utilizes CRM and other VisionAIR databases and Intranet.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment. Considerable stress may occur. Selling requires a high level of personal energy and stamina. Travel 50 - 75%.
