The candidates are to have a proven track record of relationship management experience including selling commercial card programs in North America. The track record must show that they have consistently met or over-achieved their sales and business targets. In addition, candidates must have the ability to cross sell spend management solutions and other Bank products and services.

MANDATE

•Proactively develop, implement, review and revise a 24 month rolling plan focusing on strategies for growth of existing client programs, within designated portfolio that will result in meeting or exceeding assigned portfolio growth targets.

•Ensure familiarity with industry best practices and Bank solution set to effectively identify opportunities that arise during client meeting and deliver needs-based solutions.

•Craft detailed and complex correspondence, presentations and proposals to effectively address clients’ needs, differentiate the Bank from its competition, and reflect the highest standards of professional written communication.

•Obtain new/increased client mandates through effective closing techniques to achieve revenue targets.

•Collaborate and build strong network with internal Bank areas to leverage Bank relationships with clients and increase share of wallet. Stay abreast of changes in the spend management and commercial card industries to effectively respond to client questions and needs, differentiating Bank from its competition.

Travel is required.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Undergraduate degree with 3-5 years corporate relationship management experience to organizations greater than $500 million in annual revenues

• Understands fundamentals of purchasing process in large organizations and accounting flow of payables and receivables

• Exceptional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional presentation skills in addressing both small and large audiences

• Experienced in coordinating deal teams

• Experienced in contact negotiations with both clients and legal counsel

• High proficiency using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint to complete professional proposals, pricing models and presentations

a) Advantageous (not required):

• MBA degree

• Commercial card sales experience with MasterCard or Visa or Diners or AMEX products and solutions

• Commercial banking experience (e.g cash management, lending, relationship management
