Account Executive-Risk Planners
Risk Planners is a national insurance agency dedicated to meeting the insurance needs of supermarket retailers and their employees. PURPOSE: The Account Executive represents Risk Planners in promoting selling insurance products and programs. The incumbent will work with customers and insurance representatives to find the best solutions for their business needs. Location: Minneapolis, MN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will prospect, promote, sell and service Risk Planners insurance products/programs to affiliated and non-affiliated retailers in assigned the assigned territory Seek out and develop business, dealing effectively in all selling situations while recognizing and coping with the variables presented Independently responsible for the management of a large territory Work closely with insurance representatives to source programs/products to meet customers needs Ongoing management of all accounts in the assigned territory
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial property/casualty sales Licensed Resident Property/Casualty, Life Insurance Agent a plus Exposure to retail and/or grocery business helpful Must have willingness and ability to travel 80% Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision Strong drive for results and strong customer service orientation Proven problem solving and persuasion skills
