Account Executive - Southwest

We are in search of a Account Executive - Southwest to be based in Los Angeles. Responsible for day-to-day management of Southwest territory (Southern California, Nevada, Arizona) and ensuring revenue goals are met and/or exceeded. 


 


Roles and Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant contacts at each assigned agency and client; present a consistent image of professionalism, timeliness and accountability to those clients; build high levels of client satisfaction
  • Provide creative and solutions-based ideas to develop major brand and CPM deals
  • Provide accurate and timely answers to client queries on a daily basis
  • Strong focus on client categories within key vertical markets
  • Daily interaction with CRM tool to update and manage activity and pipeline
  • Present articulately and passionately about IB’s offerings and assets
  • Represent IB at industry events

 


Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience



  • 3-5 years experience, longer a plus, in a position with sales responsibility (ideally from within a media company, or the agency side)
  • Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research; traditional media, or emerging markets would be advantageous
  • Passionate, engaged, committed and student of the industry
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong account planning skills
  • Excellent sales skills including the ability to create and build relationships. Demonstrated track record of success and established relationships
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate resources and relationships outside of direct line of responsibility
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to travel as job requires
