Responsibilities:

·         Take the lead on small-to-mid-sized accounts, be a core team player on larger, high profile accounts

·         Develop great story angles/pitches that make journalists smile because you understand ‘news value’

·         Devise and drive social media programs for clients

·         Develop client press materials – press kit materials, press kits, web content, by-lined editorial, and more

·         Love to coach junior staff because you were once one of them

·         Strong writing/proofreading skills (required)

Qualities:

• Driven and passionate about the profession of PR; and can show us the client successes to prove it
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment; Multi-tasks effectively and can keep the balls in the air (and has fun doing it)
• An outstanding writer and strategic thinker
• Team player who can juggle multiple projects
• Public Relations/Marketing/Communications experience preferred
• B.S. Degree required
• 3-6 years of PR Agency experience required
