We are looking for strategic thinkers and motivated professionals for our 10 U.S. regional offices who can help our customers find a smarter way to do business using our cutting-edge technology.


Responsibilities
Execute account management strategies designed to facilitate the implementation of business relevant solutions within a portfolio of targeted accounts
Develop and drive new accounts and expand existing accounts within the water/wastewater and stormwater industry by selling software and services
Effectively coordinate and leverage sales resources organized in a distributed or virtual team environment
Work closely with technical resources to develop custom presentations designed to demonstrate the business value of ESRI’s enterprise solutions
Leverage industry knowledge and customer relationships to understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
Execute effective sales strategies in a rapidly changing and competitive environment.
Advance relationships with existing high value partners within the water/wastewater and stormwater industry


Requirements
Bachelors or masters in GIS, civil engineering, information systems, or a related field or equivalent years of experience, depending upon position level.
Five or more years of enterprise sales experience in a technical field.
Knowledge of and experience using ESRI products or other geospatial technology
Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment
Experience developing large, complex business relationships with major customers
Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate the value of technology investments to decision makers and executive level management as well as develop productive relationships with technical staff.
Experience working in or with the water/wastewater and stormwater industry including understanding of basic workflows and familiarity with state and/or federal regulatory environments
Understanding of commonly used technology by industry customer base such as work order management systems, CAD, hydraulic modeling, and computerized management maintenance systems (CMMS).


Recommended Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to travel as needed.
