Account Manager / Technical Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
The Account Manager will develop strategy and manage key business relationships with high-level customer contacts in medium to large size Manufacturers. The Account Manager will align customer and corporate strategies into integrated business plans resulting in profitable sales growth and the achievement of objectives including volume, customer profitability, plant utilization, and pricing. The Account Manager will develop, nurture, and make visits to key US Manufacturers to support their current and future manufacturing needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about growing the business and should be accustomed to being a strategic partner that is comfortable interfacing with customer key decision makers.
Requirements:
Ø Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree a plus.
Ø Minimum of 4-6 years experience in a B2B environment with significant experience selling products to one of the following industries: Pharmaceutical / Personal Care / Consumer Packaged Goods / Food & Beverage Industry / Industrial or similar.
Ø Experience must include key account development and a proven track record of client development and extended sales cycle experience.
Ø Experience with customer contract review and competitive pricing research.
Ø Proven ability to develop and improve customer relationships with senior management / key decision makers.
Ø Maintain current industry knowledge by attending seminars and tradeshows and reviewing publications and periodicals. Knowledge of flexible packaging / films / roll stock / labels / shrink films is preferred.
Ø Ability to travel up to 50%.
Ø Excellent leadership skills including the ability to influence others.
