An Ontario based firm engaged in the metal stamping, welded assemblies, rod and tube forming for the automotive industries seeks an experienced Account Manager responsible for managing the current and prospective customers in the Southeastern United States region. 

Five (5) years or more direct OEM and Tier 1 sales experience.  Ability to read blueprints and recommend part design improvements is desired.

Stamping or automotive sales experience preferred.  Must be willing to travel 25 to 35%.  Preferred prospects will have an active list of customer contacts in the metal stamping industry with realistic expectations of sales success.  Self starter, able to work independently to achieve annual goals and sales budgets.

Prospecting and cold call proficiency is a must. Needs good sales and negotiating skills combined with substantial engineering knowledge of both our own and customer’s products.  Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Lotus Notes (email).

Degree in manufacturing, sales, engineering or metal stamping required.  Requires excellent verbal communications, self confidence, resilience and assertiveness.

This position will be located in our Atlanta Georgia plant and will report to the VP Sales & Marketing located in Michigan. We offer a total compensation package including benefits.
