Founded in 1993, NATCO is a transportation brokerage firm headquartered in Arlington, Texas.  We provide customers with the expertise to effectively manage and transport their freight in a safe and timely manner.  We achieve this level of customer service by relying on the relationships developed by our dispatch team with core carriers.  Our database has access to more than 25,000 carriers in order to meet every customer’s special request.  Currently, NATCO has several locations throughout the United States in Michigan, Nebraska, Texas and Washington.  We are adding additional Account Managers/Account Executives to the Columbus, Nebrasks Sales Force location.


 


Summary of Responsibilities:


NATCO is continually searching for additional team members.  We have an immediate opening for the position of Account Manager within the Sales Team.  This team member must be able to build relationships with our customers over the telephone.  You will be in daily contact with many customers and shippers.  Through this communication you will be building relationships, problem solving and assessing customer’s needs.  As you communicate with customers, you will be negotiating pricing and rates to effectively transport the customer’s freight. You will be a point person to insure that the customer’s requests are met by the highest level of customer service.  This position also is researching and prospecting to evaluate new avenues of business.  Our ideal candidate must have 3 years experience in transportation sales/brokerage or account management, ability to manage time effectively while operating in a fast pace environment.


 


Primary Responsibilities:


 


·         Heavy outbound phone calls to existing customers.

·         Research and prospect potential new customers through various sources.

·         Maintain daily tracking of available freight.

·         Contact customers on a regular basis to solicit new business.

·         Take an active role in planning for team growth and personal development.

·         Add additional customers to the team and grow existing business with current customers.

 


Qualifications:


·         Some College course work, preferably in Business/Marketing.

·         Competitive team player with an outgoing personality.

·         Effective written and oral communication skills.

·         Goal oriented, self motivated to succeed as an individual and in a team environment.

·         Strong knowledge of business practices and sales skills.

·         Working knowledge of MS Office Suite:  Word and Excel
